Add a collector

The collector collects the user authentication requests from the agent, processes the requests, and sends them to the firewall for authentication.

To add a collector, do as follows:

  1. Turn on Enable Sophos Transparent Authentication Suite and click Activate STAS.
  2. Click Add new collector.

  3. Specify the settings.

    Option Value
    Collector IP IP address of the STAS collector. The firewall listens for connection requests from the specified IP address and port.
    Collector port Collector port.
    Collector group Group to which the collector will be added. You can add the collector to a new or existing group.

  4. Click Save.
