Custom SMTP Routing

You can set up routes from your domains to other addresses. Outbound emails are then sent from there, instead of from the original domains.

Note

Custom SMTP Routing settings only apply to outbound messages processed by Sophos Email Gateway. For Sophos Email Mailflow messages, you must configure routing in Microsoft 365.

  1. Go to My Products > General Settings > Custom SMTP Routing.
  2. Click Add.
  3. In Add Custom SMTP Routing, select the domain whose outbound emails you want to route.
  4. Enter the IP address or fully-qualified domain name (FQDN), and port number, of the address you want to route to.
  5. Click Add.

The domain and destination appear in your list.
