Endpoint license expiration
This page tells you what happens when your Endpoint licenses expire. The outcome may vary depending on your license type and the license expiration date.
We offer a 30-day grace period after the licenses expire. Some features and options still work during this grace period.
Trial
- New endpoints can't be protected.
- Existing endpoints continue to update, get policy updates, send back events, and so on.
- Some admin UI pages are removed.
- Threat Protection and policy changes are still reflected.
- Threat Analysis Center is inaccessible.
- All licenses are removed.
- Existing endpoints won't update.
- New endpoints can't be protected.
- Devices page is inaccessible.
- Dashboard page isn't visible.
- General Settings page isn't visible.
- Products under My Products aren't visible.
- There are limited options on the General Settings page.
- You can't update any policies.
Full license
- Existing endpoints continue to update, get policy updates, send back events, and so on.
- The admin UI pages are visible and usable.
- Installers, Live Terminal, and Live Query are inaccessible.
- All licenses are visible but expired.
- Existing endpoints won't update.
- New endpoints can't be protected.
- You can't update any policies.
- Unlicensed products are uninstalled.
Revoked or terminated full license
- Existing endpoints continue to update all components, send events, stay protected, and show security health as green.
- New endpoints can't be protected.
- Some admin UI pages are removed.
- Installers are removed and new installation fails.
- You can't update any policies.
- Threat Analysis Center is inaccessible.
- All licenses are removed.
- Existing endpoints won't update.
- New endpoints can't be protected.
- Devices page is inaccessible.
- There are limited options on the General Settings page.
- Products under My Products aren't visible.
- Tamper Protection is still turned on.
