Manage Sophos container apps
To separate private from work data on managed devices, Sophos Mobile provides the Sophos container apps Sophos Secure Email and Sophos Secure Workspace.
The Sophos container is only available for Sophos Central accounts created before October 1, 2022 and for accounts migrated from an on-premise installation of Sophos Mobile.
This feature requires a Mobile Advanced license.
To manage the Sophos container apps, you must install them via Sophos Mobile. If users already have an unmanaged version of Sophos Secure Workspace installed on their devices, they must uninstall it first and install the managed version.
You can manage the apps with Sophos Mobile as follows:
Configure app settings in Sophos Mobile.
Use compliance policies to ensure that the Sophos container apps are installed.
Distribute documents securely via the Work documents storage provider.
