Configure unenrollment option

By default, Sophos Mobile Control on Android devices, iPhones, and iPads has an Unenroll option. You can remove this option to stop users unenrolling their devices using the app.

Note

To also prevent users from unenrolling their devices in the Sophos Central Self Service Portal, turn off the Unenroll device action in your Self Service Portal configuration. See Create Self Service Portal configurations.

To remove or show the Unenroll option in Sophos Mobile Control, do as follows:

  1. On the menu sidebar, click Setup > General, and then click the SMC app tab.
  2. Do one of the following:

    • To remove the Unenroll option from the app, select Disable unenrollment through app.
    • To show the Unenroll option again, deselect Disable unenrollment through app.
  3. Click Save.

Your changes take effect the next time the device synchronizes with Sophos Mobile.
