Work documents (Android Sophos container policy)
With the Work documents configuration you manage the Work documents storage provider in Sophos Secure Workspace.
Restriction
Work documents are only available for Sophos Central accounts created before October 1, 2022 and for accounts migrated from an on-premise installation of Sophos Mobile.
Configure storage providers
For each storage provider you can define the following settings separately:
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Enable | The storage provider is available in the app. |
Offline | Users are allowed to add work documents to the app's Favorites list for offline use. |
Open in (encrypted) | Users can share encrypted files with other apps via Open In. |
Open in (unencrypted) | Users can share unencrypted files with other apps via Open In. |
Clipboard | Users can copy parts of a document and paste them into other apps. |
WebDAV provider settings
For WebDAV providers, you can configure server settings and sign-in credentials.
When you don’t configure a setting, users must enter it when they connect to the provider.

Other settings
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Enable Documents | This turns on the Documents feature to securely distribute company documents. |
Passphrase complexity | The required minimum complexity of passphrases for encryption keys. |
Deny screenshots | Users can’t take screenshots that show the Sophos Secure Workspace app. |
Extra settings | Only configure these settings if instructed by Sophos Support. |
